Many of Sharda Glass' early projects were the classic iconic 'glass box' extension or conservatory add-on to Victorian houses. These transparent temples taking inhabitants living space into the garden and often refocusing the floor plan of a home for the way we live now - usually forming a kitchen-diner hub. Many new loft style apartment conversions of warehouse or former urban offices have benefitted from the introduction of glass statement elements in receptions, other communal areas and as balcony or stair features.

New-build Modern style homes like those designed in recent years by Conran & Partners for example make good use of high tech glazing and all the added benefits that specialist glasses can provide for a sustainable, intelligent, low maintenance living space. Sharda Glass has worked with many of the country's new architects on cutting edge residential developments and single statement dwelling projects. Grand designs indeed.
